What is AIR RACE X?
The world's most skilled pilots compete against each other in the "F1 of the skies” where they use all their physical and mental strength to achieve the fastest times at speeds of up to 370km/h and maximum gravity acceleration of 12G. AIR RACE X is back, a "5-dimensional motorsport that transcends time and space.”
AIR RACE X is the next generation of motorsports, establishing an unprecedented innovative competition format and spectator style through a new racing format that combines actual flight with the latest digital technology.
Pilots will fly at locations around the world and compete for the winning time in a remote format. Spectators can watch the pilots' flights from afar or up close using augmented reality (AR) technology or their mobile devices.
This format is called "digital rounds" and consists of qualifying rounds held over six days and a final tournament held over one day.

The qualifying rounds will be held in a remote format at each player's location around the world.
The final tournament will be held in Shibuya, Japan, the host city for STYLY, a center of youth culture and trends.
The event will be held in a new spectator style utilizing augmented reality (AR) technology.
A race venue in Shibuya is now a reality!
Digital Round competition data is generated by collecting and analyzing ultra-high- precision flight data from the pilots aircraft flying around the world via the ARX website. The competition data is then visualized using augmented reality (AR) technology. On the day of the finals, the pilots will be able to watch their flights on the streets of Shibuya. ARX offers a new way to enjoy motorsports and aviation.
Innovative public viewing that transcends time and space enabled by augmented reality (AR) on the real metaverse platform "STYLY”
The innovative spectator style offered by AIR RACE X using the metaverse platform is made possible by the advanced technology of "STYLY".
By holding up an XR device or mobile device running the "STYLY" application (https://gallery.styly.cc)spectators can watch the race planes fly through the streets of Shibuya as if it were happening right before their eyes. The race will also be broadcast online to the entire world, allowing visitors to enjoy the excitement of the race on live media, just as have done in previous air races.
AIR RACE X is a "5-dimensional motor sport" that transcends time and space using the latest technology. The new style of spectating will be offered as a "Kick-Off" event.
STYLY is a metaverse space that can create and distribute VR/AR/MR content linked to urban spaces.

Streets are lined with skyscrapers and department stores including Center Street and the 109 Building, a walk through the side streets and you will find restaurants, bars and cafes, some dating back hundreds of years. Shibuya is a vibrant area known for its iconic scramble crossing, live music clubs, and designer clothes shops, all of which are within easy walking distance of each other. There are numerous parks and vantage points to view ARX.

AIR RACE X is the world's first attempt to transform urban spaces around the world into race venues through digital technology and the core technology that supports this realization is STYLY, a metaverse platform.
