Pete McLeod, perhaps Canada’s most storied young aviator, made history as the youngest pilot ever and only Canadian to compete in the top class of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. Raised in Red Lake, ON with a degree in economics from the University of Western Ontario, he has been flying his entire life. First airborne at 6-weeks old, McLeod was handed the controls atop his father’s knee at only 3-yrs old. After early success and numerous titles in his amateur days, McLeod entered the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. He has since competed in 8 seasons more then 50 races around the world. Pete is a regular name on the air show circuit in North America and fills his time in between races performing for crowds from coast to coast.
